We are home of the unforgettable Fried Pickles and some of the freshest seafood you’ll find!
Your order is prepared especially for you, so please be patient with our small kitchen. We hope you willmake yourself at home here in our 1941 West Bay landmark. Several families have lived and worked here through the years. The terracotta bricks were brought here by boat from Lynn Haven. Boon Docks opened June 24, 1998. In January of 1999
we spread over into the old fish house, now called the Socal (So-Kull) Club, for extra space on busy nights. Early 2002 brought Pickles Gifts to the Buchanan home and Fish Tales (a place for cool drinks & A/C while you wait) to the bait shop. After several years of planning and anticipation a new dining room adjoining the original one opened in 2003. We are proud to share all this progress with our loyal customers we call friends. For those of you that are new friends, if you look above in the original dining room you will see the original rafters supporting our shiny tin roof. Black and white pictures are around to remind us of days gone by and signed memorabilia of recent visitors. The Socal Club that is located in the old fish house dates back to the early 1900’s... notice the slope of the floor towards the bay. Look out the windows to see the barges go by or the ducks coming in for their favorite corn! Walk through the historic Buchanan home and visit Pickles Gifts for all your souvenirs and celebration needs. The mighty oaks that have swayed through the many storms are out front to greet you, bit you a fond farewell and leave a pleasant memory with you until your next visit!
